拼湊出一座城市的靈魂
台南的圓環不只是導航上的路標，更是生活記憶的輻射中心。本次計畫由「台南老爺行旅」發起，我們重新梳理了七座圓環的歷史脈絡，將迷人的建築肌理與巷口美食交織成一張立體的探索地圖。這不只是一次地方行銷，而是一場對府城空間關係的深情採集。
Tainan’s roundabouts are more than just landmarks on a map; they are the radiant centers of living memories. Initiated by The Place Tainan, this project re-examines the historical context of seven roundabouts, interweaving architectural textures with local street food into a multi-dimensional exploration map. This is more than local marketing; it is an affectionate harvest of Tainan's spatial relationships.

我們走入巷口，紀錄那些傳承數載的爐火香氣。從西門圓環的清新苦甜，到民生圓環的飽足韻味，每一處味覺座標都代表著台南人對生活的堅持。我們將這些在地風味細緻轉譯，讓旅人的舌尖成為探索地圖的最佳導覽。
We venture into the alleys to record the aromas from stoves passed down through generations. From the refreshing bittersweetness of Ximen Circle to the hearty flavors of Minsheng Circle, every taste coordinate represents the local persistence in daily life. We delicately translate these local flavors, letting the traveler’s palate become the best guide for the map.

作為探索計畫的策畫者，台南老爺行旅不僅提供一處棲居之所，更是一個連結在地文化的視窗。我們在客房與公共空間植入圓環的視覺語彙，讓旅人在每一次進出之間，都能感受到這座城市獨特的幾何脈動。
As the curator of the exploration project, The Place Tainan offers more than just a place to stay; it is a window connecting local culture. We’ve embedded the visual language of roundabouts into guest rooms and public spaces, allowing travelers to feel the unique geometric pulse of the city with every arrival and departure.

視覺系統以圓環的「環狀結構」為核心，運用大膽的色塊與幾何線條，重構台南的城市平面。我們設計了一系列易於攜帶的摺頁與標籤，將複雜的巷弄資訊簡化為直覺的導引。讓設計不只是美學，更是引領旅人深入在地的鑰匙。
The visual system centers on the "circular structure" of the roundabouts, using bold color blocks and geometric lines to reconstruct Tainan's urban layout. We’ve designed a series of portable brochures and labels, simplifying complex alley information into intuitive guidance. Design is not just aesthetics; it is the key that leads travelers deep into the local scene

我們鼓勵以步行或單車的方式穿梭圓環。這不僅是對環境的溫柔承諾，更是體驗台南最正確的速度。透過減塑包材與數位地圖的應用，我們在推廣城市魅力的同時，也守護這片承載歷史的土地。
We encourage exploring the roundabouts by foot or bicycle. This is not only a gentle commitment to the environment but also the perfect speed to experience Tainan. We use plastic-reduced materials to promote urban charm while protecting this historical land.

在圓環中看見台南的恆久
城市探索計畫是老爺行旅與在地社群的深度結盟。我們與巷弄裡的老店及年輕職人共生，讓文化價值在流動中傳承。計畫終會畫下句點，但對城市的熱愛不會。我們希望透過這次探索，帶給您的不只是幾處景點，而是一份關於台南「生活節奏」的體悟。下次回到府城，記得先去圓環轉轉，那裡永遠有歲月靜好的驚喜在等著您。
This project is a deep alliance between The Place Tainan and the local community. We co-exist with traditional shops and young craftsmen, allowing cultural values to be inherited through movement. While the project will eventually end, our love for the city will not. We hope this journey offers more than just landmarks, but a true realization of Tainan’s rhythm of life. Next time you return, head to the roundabouts first—there is always a timeless surprise waiting for you.
